Web Design rules you need to keep in
mind:
1- Your main keyword should get over
10,000 internet hits a month, unless you are going to
get hits from PPC services, like Google Adsense. Main keyword
should saturate the text on your page, PPC still has a high fraud
count. |
2- Main keyword should be in Domain name,
if you were selling Rubber Ducks
(www.rubber-ducks.com)
should be your domain name. |

higher if you keep the load speed around 10 secs. on a 28k modem. |
4- Header Tag <H4>Website Site Promotion, Web Design, Analysis, Low Cost Consulting
</H4>
should be as close to top of page as possible, some pages this is not
possible because on branding limitations. |
5- Pictures on main page
should be kept to a minimum, to keep load speed down. Pictures can
be done as a java applet slide show or separate page,
possible to run in Java Applet, remember not every visitor has a High
Speed DSL connection. |

site maps.

7- Larger images like the 90kb header on
my main page can be sliced and put in a table cells,
search engines only sees the separate images and they can be loading
at the same time. |
8- Frames pages give you more designing
possibilities as Search Engines only sees what you
have in your <noframes> section. My
Main Page is a Frames Page
with a sliced 8 part top section image ! |
| 9- Main Keyword density
needs to be high in text area of your page, if you are trying to get a
FREE 1st page listing on Google,
without paying $1.00 to $5.00 PPC click, which may not increase you ROI, PPC's can add
$1000's of dollars to your monthly advertising budget, with no ROI. |
| 10- The new narrow
page look is a drawback, as you limit what visitor can see without
moving scroll bar. You may only get one shot at enticing visitors to
view all information on your main page. |
| 11- 404 shtml redirect
page send visitors to main link in case they hit page that has been
removed or mis-type extension: this sample link
will send you to 404 error page
